Title & Author Information
Concise title; full author names; institutional affiliations; corresponding author email; ORCID where available.
Abstract & Keywords
Self-contained abstract covering the problem, objective, methods, principal results and conclusion; followed by 4-8 keywords.
Introduction
Scientific context, literature gap, rationale, objective and a clear statement of the paper's interdisciplinary contribution or innovation.
Materials and Methods
Data/materials, study design, models or algorithms, software/hardware, evaluation metrics and statistical methods with enough detail for reproducibility.
Results
Clear evidence and observations supported by appropriate tables, figures, uncertainty measures or statistical tests where relevant.
Discussion
Interpretation, comparison with prior work, scientific implications, interdisciplinary value, limitations and generalizability.
Conclusion
Concise statement of the main findings and contribution. Do not introduce new results.
Declarations & References
Author contributions, funding, data availability, conflicts of interest, ethics/consent where applicable, acknowledgments and complete references.
Article Type Guide
Complete original study with methods, results and discussion.
Critical synthesis of a defined scientific field or interdisciplinary topic.
Transparent search, eligibility, synthesis and reporting methodology.
New method, workflow, instrument, algorithm or technically validated improvement.
Focused, timely original result with concise presentation.
Evidence-grounded scholarly perspective on an emerging issue.
Well-documented dataset, benchmark, software or scientific resource.
Suggested lengths are guidance rather than automatic acceptance criteria. Editors may consider justified exceptions based on scientific content.
Figures, Tables, Algorithms & Equations
Figures
Figure 1. Descriptive figure title.
Place the caption below the figure. Number figures consecutively and cite them in the text as Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.
Tables
Table 1. Descriptive table title.
Place the title above the table. Number tables consecutively and define abbreviations in notes when needed.
Algorithms
Algorithm 1. Descriptive algorithm title.
State Input and Output, then present numbered pseudocode steps. Cite in the text as Algorithm 1.
Equations
Center equations and number cited equations consecutively on the right as (1), (2), (3). Define each symbol at first use.

Table example: Table 1. Comparison of model configurations and evaluation metrics.
Algorithm example: Algorithm 1. Multimodal scientific data-integration workflow.

Citation and Reference Numbering
EJSII uses numbered citations in square brackets. Assign numbers in the order in which sources first appear in the manuscript and reuse the same number whenever that source is cited again.
In-text example: Interdisciplinary models have been applied to environmental hazard assessment [1, 2], while multimodal fusion has been examined in related studies [3-5].
