Unpublished manuscripts, data, supplementary files, editorial correspondence and reviewer identities must be handled confidentially according to the journal’s review model.

Use of information

Reviewers and editors must not use privileged manuscript information for personal, academic, competitive or commercial advantage.

Secure handling

Manuscript files should be stored only as long as needed for legitimate review and editorial purposes and should not be shared with unauthorised third parties.
