Peer Review Policy
Double-anonymous peer review with independent expert assessment.
Review model
Research articles are assessed using double-anonymous peer review, with a minimum of two independent reviewers as the normal standard. Additional review may be requested when expertise, methodological complexity or conflicting reports make it necessary.
Reviewer selection
Reviewers are selected for relevant expertise, independence and absence of material conflict. Author-suggested reviewers may be considered but are not guaranteed to be invited.
Editorial decisions
Reviewer reports are advisory. Qualified editors make the final decision after considering the manuscript, reviewer comments, revisions, ethics issues and journal scope.
Confidentiality and conflicts
Editors and reviewers must protect manuscript confidentiality and disclose relevant conflicts. A conflicted editor or reviewer should not participate in assessment of the affected manuscript.
