This section covers high-quality research where cognitive science is a central part of the manuscript’s scholarly contribution. Work may be theoretical, methodological, empirical, computational, experimental or applied when it demonstrates clear novelty and disciplinary relevance.

Routine or purely descriptive work without a clear scholarly, methodological or technical contribution.
